Nostalgia

my first ever video game was Spyro the Dragon for the original playstation. i would always play it to escape from life, and into this magical world where i could kick everything's butt!

The original spyro trilogy was a huge part of my childhood, and it's a part of who i am and why i decided to become a computer art major.

I drew this for an assignment in my drawing class. the assignment was "where am i from?" and we could interpret it in any way we chose, so i decided to choose one of my first friends as a child, Spyro the dragon.

and now that my trip down memory lane is done, i decided to post it here

i used colored pencils and charcoal
